as usual it's a must buy for all Silkmen fans. It is available from the club shop priced £14. There is also a DVD version available priced at a little bit more. Produced as always by Ian Unsworth, the quality is excellent, the running time is 170 minutes and as well as showing highlights from games, home and away, there are also interviews with all the three managers and with selected players.
The tape starts with highlights from season 2002-03, which had this reviewer worried that he might of been given the wrong tape, but the action quickly moves on to season 2003-04 and the early season friendlies against Sheffield Wednesday, Leek Town, Vauxhall Motors and Stoke City, before getting onto the main event of the League games. Extended highlights of the all the home games are included, but the away games appear to be the standard clips off the Sky League coverage.
Included are highlights of the Carling Cup home game against Sheffield United, but nothing of the LDV Vans away game against Chesterfield. So we miss out on the second of Danny Adam's two goals he scored for the Silkmen.
Highlights are many, the tape repeats on the moment where John Miles misplaces a simple pass to Tommy Widdrington, and Doncaster pounce to score their second goal. From being a goal up, the games was lost 1-3 and David Moss was on his way out.
There are extended highlights of the FA Cup games against Cambridge, including a good view of the sending off of George Abbey and all the penalty kicks.
The video also shows what happened between Jon Parkin and Byrne in the Swansea game that resulted in the Swans player getting the red card. But the tape doesn't show the incident when John Askey caught the ball on the sidelines and nearly got into some fisticuffs type action.
There we are, an excellent tape, excellent value for money, get yourself on down to the club shop and get it bought.
