Silkmen Draw Hull City Away

Two years ago it was the first round of the F.A. Cup that Macclesfield Town had the journey to Hull. It was one of the last games at Boothferry Park that day as the Silkmen ran out emphatic winners 3 goals to nil. Matt Tipton, Kyle Lightbourne and Danny Whitaker scoring the goals. The next round saw the Silkmen drawn against Vauxhall Motors, who happen to be in the Conference North alongside Alfreton Town. There is some sort of reciprocality working in the cosmic karma here somewhere!

Also Hull were Brian Horton's frst club in football management and with the keeper swap that went on, it could be a big day all round.

From the 2,500 Impact Arena to the 25,000 Kingston Communications Stadium - if the Silkmen can just get past the replay match against Alfreton Town a week on Tuesday evening.
