He had made a significant impact since arriving at the Moss Rose in the summer from Nottingham Forest.
Silkmen boss Keith Alexander said: "As a manager I've always felt that you have to give the lads with long standing injuries a bit more flexibility. That's why it made sense for Hamza to be allowed to head back to France for a short break.
"He's naturally a positive character but hopefully a few days away from the club will allow him to recharge the batteries.
"He's an integral part of this football club and we are all looking forward to when he pulls on a Macclesfield shirt again."
