Last updated : 24 October 2004 By Dave Morris

Alan Fettis - commanded his area well again and made some good saves when needed - 7

Graham Potter - played left side midfield well, a few good crosses in - 6

Matt Carragher - organised defence well, wasn't intimidated by Bradbury - 6

Tony Barras - again won good headers all afternoon against some dangerous customers - 6

Paul Harsley - Mr Versatility turned up on the right side of midfield and did well against Basham - 7

Jon Parkin - played the target man role well, but otherwise a quiet afternoon - 6

Matt Tipton - also a quiet game as part of a three man attack, but the Bangor bangerin can't be ignored - 6

John Miles - good to see John come on and he quickly settled into left side midfield - 6

Tommy Widdrington - battled away in midfield and got back well to help out defence when needed - 6

Danny Whitaker - super performance in midfield, harrying U's players all afternoon and winning the ball - 8

Mike Sheron - Needs match time and got a full 90 minutes. Scored a super goal to win match - 7

Simon Weaver - settled nicely into back 3, didn't get out of position, and did well when up against Mooney - 7

Brian Horton - started 3-4-3 and switched Harsley in for Bailey where perhaps a more orthodox full-back against Basham would have been other people's choice! But Harsley did very well in the role. Brought Miles on quickly when Tipton looked injured and settled back for the win - 8
